Of course not! We've only ever made good decisions when it comes to foreign policy.

You're a bleeding heart liberal. I can tell.

;)

Throwing facts in our faces like that. HOW DARE YOU!?!

For sure. :) Clue is one of my favorites of all time.

He's in Spamalot on Broadway right now, you know.

Well, not right now, because it's Monday and Monday's are black night on Broadway.

But probably tomorrow night.

Just not feeling real well. :( Annoyed with my body for pretending that it's 65. lol. I have to have some tests done on my gall bladder tomorrow morning. It'll be a super time. I'm sure.

yeah, that's preposterous, but they never really base it off of the person's accomplishments or defeats, they base it off of the press the person has recieved and if the magazine finds anything remotely interesting on the person.

i mean, in 1982, the "person of the year" was a computer. the reasons for that title being given vary to multiple extremes.

That's an interesting point. I just think it's interesting how when people do terrible, terrible things, publicity is so quick to shine on them.

I wonder if there hadn't been so much publicity about all of the terrorist attacks, or the school shootings, if there would have been so many "copycat" attacks, you know?

Didn't they nearly name Osama bin Laden "Person of the Year" in 2001? I'm probably just crazy.

Well at the time, I believe that he brought Germany out of the Great Depression, so he was considered a national hero, and international celebrity. I think that was before he became the psycho Jew gassing s.o.b.

I think a lot of people mistakenly give Hitler full credit for bringing Germany out of the depression, which simply isn't true. He had a great deal of help, and just kind of attached his name to it. In fact, Hitler had been killing political prisoners on the sly for years. Was it 32 that the Olympics were in Germany? Antisemitism was all ready HUGE in Germany at the time,a nd they spent a great deal of time and money attempting to hide it from the international visitors coming for the Olympiad activities.

The thing Hitler did best was boost morale for the poor and middle class "pure germans" by saying that all of the problems of Germany were because of the "Jewish, Communist, Gay, Handicapped (etc) problem".

And the CIA trained and supplied Osama Bin Laden.
And the CIA installed the Shah in Iran.
Compile a list of what rebellion we're selling weapons to today and you'll get a fairly comprehensive list of our enemies in ten years.

Eddie Izzard is awesome.

Very true.

We can also assume that the orphans and widowers we're creating all over the world will have a percentage of terrorists form out of that grief as well.

Yes, yes he is.

Really? You think he was a genius? Was his IQ ever tested? Just because he was able to manipulate and destroy does not necessarily make him a genius.
