Buddhists have no order of authority in their religion. A Buddhist monk who follows the religion strictly lives alone in a monastery with these few possessions: a robe, an alms bowl ( to beg for food), a needle, a string of 108 beads (to count while meditating), a razor (To shave his head), and a filter (to strain insects from his drinking water).
