|Hmm. What's your dream?

You've got to have a dream,
if you don't have a dream...
How you gonna make a dream come true?
- South Pacific
Have you ever noticed that most people prefer not to tell people their dreams?
My theory is that it dates back to when we were little kids, and getting told to blow out the candles on the birthday cake. You get told to make a wish 'but not to tell anyone otherwise it won't come true'. Something like that.
oooh. a smart one, you are.
never though of it that way...
That's kind of what I was thinking. I was surprised, actually, I thought I'd come home to about 100 emails about people dreams.. alas.. like 15.
Aww... poor Randomposting! I can bore you with mine for awhile if you'd like?
And you wouldn't bore me. :)
If I don't respond IMMEDIATELY, it's because I gave in and went to bed. My bed has been calling to me for awhile...
Hmm...when I was five I wanted to be a ballerina. I matured from that and then wanted to become a princess at Tokyo Disneyland (safer not to ask)
Now, at the wise old age of 16 and three-quarters I've mostly outgrown the Princess thing. Mostly. I used to want to model couture clothes once. I gave up one that one when I quit modelling though >.<
So now...I dream of being a published author before I turn 18, of making a name for myself in animation and writing, of graduating my animation course with honours.
Relationships feature in there somewhere, too. I dream of still being able to think clearly when I get older, and dying peacefully in my sleep.
I dream of touring Europe, and of travelling all over Australia and scuba diving in the Whitsundaes again. I dream of having my own house on the gold coast where I can swim every day...
...Actually, it's kinda fun to write them all out like that :)
sometimes it's because they are simply afraid of being judged =P
