Smarty pants.

Justin Lewtry, 23, of Ottawa, Ont., was sentenced to
12 months' probation plus restitution for drilling through the floor
of his apartment into Blue Moon Video solely to tap into the
store's telephone line because he himself was out of cell phone
minutes. Among the lines he accidentally engaged was the store's
alarm, which frightened his cat, which fell through the floor, and
when Justin reached down to get it, he lost his balance and wound
up inside the store, helpless.
