That's terrible. And that's why I support euthanasia and assisted suicide. Poor thing.

Aaaw, That's sad. :(

Your post reminded me of this one I found :

And now, in keeping with Channel 40's policy of always bringing you the latest in blood and guts, in living color, you're about to see another first - an attempted suicide.

95% of suicides are depression related. I know you mentioned the crippling arthritis, but I'm still curious if anything else was going on inside her head. I suppose depression is just a word and constant would make you miserable, but I'm still convinced that people are never (I know I shouldn't say never like this, but I am anyways) themselves when they commit suicide, and that it is always a tragedy.

I also fear posting news of suicides (their is a reason you don't read about them in the newspaper) because you often get copy cats. When news of a suicide is posted in the newspaper, there is usually a boom of reported suicides afterwards. The rationale is that once someone reads about a suicide and sees that someone else could go through with it, then this will make them more likely to go through with it too.

I don't think this was a suicide, suicide. She just wanted to end her physical pain which is quite a different thing all together. I don't think that writing about a suicide from a dying actress is going to make any of you take pills and put a bag around your head.

That is strange though about the higher rate.

People post about suicide all the time on livejournal.. if that was the case I don't think there'd be any members left.

What was it you could not tell me?
Why are there cuts on your arm?
What is it you run away from?
Why have all the clocks stopped?

There's a really high rate of suicide in older people.. there's also a high rate of sexually transmitted diseases, I read a whole thing on it. Quite strange. -- And no, I haven't. Is it good?
