Family's coming over tomorrow...I made my famous orange pie for Christmas dinner. (it's currently setting in the refrigerator)
OOh! That sounds yummy. I did pot pies, egg, cheese, black bean and corn burritos, cranberries, and lefse tonight.
Not sure what I'm making tomorrow. I'm kind of a throw it together at the ime of person, which has led to disasters and amazing food. ;)
I hope you're having a fantastic Holiday! :)
Spending it at home with Mom - Food, gifts, and snarky Christmas stuff.
Sounds like an awesome combination. :)
You too, darling. :) Thank you!
I'm spending it my chrismas with the folks and sisters, and a lovely head cold. Though its still nice to see everyone.
Awww, I hope you're able to enjoy it even though you're sick!! And I hope even more so that you'll be feeling better.
Our Christmas traditions are falling by the wayside. My mom got promoted at work and has been too busy for anything after work. My only sister is with her in-laws. I think we're all going to sleep in, open presents eventually and then have a family party. We still do my favorite thing, though, where we watch Scrooge (Albert Finney version) with my aunts, uncles and cousins. THAT was awesome.
Aww, that's cool. :) And Holidays are always hard when people are working more than usual. :( Almost impossible. I hope you have a lovely holiday.
I'm home with the family and we're jsut unwrapping gifts and eating.
Merry Christmas! I hope it continues to be amazing. :)
Family's all here for Christmas. I have a big, big, big turkey defrosting in my laundry room sink that will be the centre piece for a wonderful feast tomorrow.
Have a great holiday!
I hope you have a great holiday too! And don't spend all of it cookin'. ;)
Best night of the year to work. There's no one here. I may lie on the front desk and sleep.
Nice. :) And get paid extra for it! I hope that its going well. :)
I'm a bit bored, but Yuletide just went live. :)
Haha, at first I was all, "but where's the sound?!"
I'm Jewish, so my family doesn't have any Christmas traditions. We used to do the tree and gifts, but that faded out as we got older. This is the second year I'll be going to Palo Alto, which is where my best friend's grandparents live, to spend the day with her family. There are about twenty people in the family and they range from ages 1 week to 70something. They're a very eclectic bunch. They do the whole early dinner thing (I've never understood that) and then I get to participate in the craziest White Elephant gift exchange of all time (my gift is ground coffee beans from my favorite coffee shop in San Francisco and a book of Shakespearian insults).
That's very awesome. =) I hope you have a wonderful time. I bet yours will be the fought-for gift. I'd fight for it. lol
From our home to yours...
Holiday blessings from Kel and Karlita
Aww! Thank you! =)
I hope your Holiday is beautiful.

Oh gosh I am so behind on Facebook
I hope to start catching up on it tomorrow!
I'm visiting my family, consisting of: my mom, my sis, my bro in law, my older niece, and my younger niece who was very concerned last night about checking the size of the chimney...Santa NEEDS to bring her a scooter, you understand! :) Merry Christmas :)
