I'm having dinner made by Luby's. We went and picked it up today.
What's Luby's? I hope it's a fantastic meal. :) I'm taking a minibreak from cooking to check email and just deflate. Ugh. I hate cooking when I'm sick. It's depressing.
I'm thankful for Ms. Random Posting!!!! So much more knowledge!!!!
My mom and I are making dinner for the boys (my pop and bro) after Thanksgiving mass. Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, veggie medley, pumpkin and apple pie and gizzards for the kitty. :D Grandparents might come by later, as well as my friend Kevin and my bro's girlfriend. Should be fun!!! :D I LOVE COOKING!!!
That is good news! Yippee!
thankful for friends, family, theatre and higher education! also student loans ;)
I'm thankful that I'm alive, that I have family to share Thanksgiving with, friends on here and in other areas of my life who are always willing to listen and to have fun with me; I'm thankful for my kitty, too. :D
And awww. *hugs* :)
I'm thankful for: internet friends; we have our health and safety and currently, our jobs; and the kids are awesome.
I'm cooking a ham (my youngest specifically requested it), with green bean casserole, a sweet potato casserole (no marshmallows!), and some other side dishes. It'll be a small gathering this year: just the six of us and my parents. It feels weird to not have a crowd...
I'm also thankful for french fried onions. YUM!
I'm thankful that I learned by example from your warm and outgoing spirit in how you reach out to others and befriend all.
Happy Thanksgiving, girl!
I wuvoo. :)
Aww. :) Best friends are the best.
My family never really did the whole thanksgiving thing, but at least I get the day off for it.
Have a good one yourself, though.
Thanks muchly. :) I hope you have a nice day off.
I'm thankful for my family, friends, my gorgeous husband and that my children are happy, healthy, and reasonably well behaved.
I made the deviled eggs for dinner today. I'd love to have a go at making the entire dinner myself but, my family doles out holidays and at 30, I'm still pretty low on the, "here's your holiday" list.
One year. :)
my poor Mom only was able to get Christmas the year before she died. I'm glad she was able to have it that once, at least.
She almost always got Thanksgiving. Since she's passed, it's been so split up. My sister used to have me and my Dad and my son over, but the past two years she's totally dissed us. Oh well.
Mini Thanksgivings are nice, too.
This Christmas I'm making a taco dip, for all to share. LOL. Christmas coloured chips will make all the difference, right?
I'm thankful for my family, friends, my freedom, and my health. :)
I would be cooking, but since I still live at home, my mom and dad are cooking to bring stuff to my grandma's house, and I would just be in the way(very much in the way).
So maybe next year or something. ;)
I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving! :)
i'm gonna be cooking! my very first thanksgiving dinner.
i am thankful for my daughter and my husband....they're so precious.
How did Thanksgiving go? :)
kinda gross but i am thankful that i love my job and my high(ish) income
No, I dig that. I would love that a well, given the opportunity. ;)
I'm thankful for my friends (IRL and online), my family, and my job. So many people have it especially hard this year.
I made a pumpkin pie :D And it was YUMMEH.
I'm also thankful for this, although I just saw it a few minutes ago:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wL-hNMJvcyI
That was epic, IMO. I wish I had seen it "live," so to speak, instead of on YouTube >_>
I hope you have a good holiday weekend!
Thanks honey. *hugs*
Wish I could have had some of that pie. :)
I am thankful for my fiance & his kids, they are the loves of my life and before them, I was just going through the motions. I am thankful for every day I get to wake up next to him and for every day we spend together! I am also thankful that his kids are so awesome and that they love me as much as I love them. I am the luckiest woman in the world to have found my soul mate! After all the horrible things I've been through in my life, I believe that I deserve the happiness I've finally found. My only hope is that anyone out there who hasn't yet found "the one", won't give up because you just never know when it might happen to you.
