111 men with out shirts go into Abercrombie & Fitch. :) Improv Everywhere makes me smile.

TV celebrity Lucille Ball reportedly learned the comic use of props from Buster Keaton on the MGM backlot in 1942 after she was signed by MGM with the intent of grooming her as a musical performer. Lucy, in turn, influenced many stars of the following generations with her comic technique. Such TV sitcom stars as Penny Marshall, Ellen DeGeneris, and Robin Williams have all traced their comedic styles back to Lucille Ball.

And thanks Lucy!

Who's your favorite comedian?

I love all those male torsoes in A&F. I guess objectification only goes so far, though. :)
Favourite comedian? Uhm.... Rick Mercer, maybe.

Hard. If not Lucy, or Red Skelton, maybe Carol Burnette? Or Dick van Dyke?

After a rough day at work, that vid made up for it plenty. Thanks for posting!

And my all time favorite comedian? I'd have to say Richard Prior. He's the man.

I think the greatest comedian of all time was Richard Pryor, but my vote for my absolute favorite has to be Mitch Hedberg.

And nice Heroes icon. This season is out of control but it's still a fun ride.

I am such a Lucy fan but probably not as much as my younger sister. They used to show I Love Lucy all the time at night and since we didn't have cable, we sort of watched whatever was on. Oh Lucy, love her! Always have really.

Jim Gaffigan! Probably. But there's also Demetri Martin, Flight of the Conchords, Mitch Hedberg, Eddie Izzard...and there are probably some ones that I'm forgetting.

Dave has gotten me into so many different comics though. I actually wanted to be a comedian when I was a little girl. I just don't think I could do stand-up, but after watching this years Last Comic Standing and seeing who won that...well, I'm funnier than her for sure. I laughed once at what she said. For shame! Stupid American voting audience. :(

You should absolutely audition. Otherwise you'll spend the rest of your life wondering what would have become of it. =)

I've always been partial to George Carlin, and Bill Cosby. Somone once told me you can't like both, but I feel thats a load of horseshit.

lol, of course you can! I mean it's not a usual pairing, of course, but there's cross over people. Like people who like Sex and The City can like Deadwood too... :)
