Headaches, three headed watch dogs, and the evolution of such. [Oct. 15th, 2008|11:39 pm]

According to Greek mythology, the three-headed watchdog Cerberus was said to guard the entrance to Hades. Although it was sometimes said to have as many as a hundred heads, most accounts describe Cerberus as having only three heads and the tail of a serpent. The center head was that of a lion, and the other two resembled a dog and a wolf. Cerberus was the offspring of the giant Typhon and Echidna, a monstrous snakelike creature. Heracles temporarily brought Cerberus to the upper world as the last of his Twelve Labors.

And a human evolution animation.

Also off topic.. who here has had a headache that won't go away in the last couple of weeks? Like 90% of the people I know have had ongoing headaches.

I'm wondering if something was released into the air.. minor chemical/biological warfare in the form of terrible terrible headaches.

Am I paranoid?

Sometimes a change in pressure can cause headaches. I think we had a high pressure system just roll through most of the country.

My roommate has been getting several migraines for the last few weeks, too. Fortunately, I'm not one to really get headaches, so I've been fine.

Glad to hear you haven't been feeling ill. That's good to know though, I wasn't aware of the pressure systems being part of it.
