So a question...

Do any of you use Ebay? I'm considering selling things on Ebay because I'm freakin' broke, but I want to chat with other people who sell stuff to see if it's worth it, so if you want to share your experiences I would be most appreciative. :)

Also, if I do decie to seel items, I'll put a link to my sales in my ebay profile.. and if you buy something from me you'll know my name and address. lol. So a bit of the mystery will be gone but I'm broke, so I guess it's worth it if I can sell stuff I dont use/need.

Hubby sells games.

My hubby sales on ebay. He's done it for years. They've just changed some rules that he's not likeing. Ebay is making it easier to buy on there but harder on the seller. Apparently he's not too angry cuz I took some more pics of things for him to sell last night. He sells old video games and such. He's Repo3264.
He's bought for me on there and for himself as well.
He got started years ago by a woman he worked with. She use to make lots of money selling used baby clothes. I have another friend that sells her own used clothes on there at times.

Video is freaking crazy! You can't make an exercise video if you're over-weight..even a little. Plus, that guy's eyes did not reflect worship at all to me.

Re: Hubby sells games.

Definately use paypal. Think very hard about shipping out of states as in states you can be assured package was delivered with confirmation number...not so elsewhere. That opens a door for, "I never received it, I want my money back"

Re: Hubby sells games.

Yeah, I probably won't use international biders unless they have really good feedback, and I'll state that in my info. Paypal really scares me. What all do I have to do to set it up? It seems so daunting.

Re: Hubby sells games.

About paypal, my hubby says it's easy. Just go to the website and follow the directions. He uses a paypal card offline all the time. I think it's like a debit card.

to use your card in real life paypal doesn't charge
when someone sends you money to your paypal, they'll take .7% out
My hubby sings paypal's praises

Re: Hubby sells games.

So what changes did they make that he's upset about?

And I agree the video is crazy, but I don't think that he was overweight.

Re: Hubby sells games.

He has a little bit of a tummy, not much, but way too much for an exercise video.
I'm not saying I think he's fat. I'd love to have that little bit of weight!

Ebay changed that sellers can't leave feedback on buyers anymore if they pay for the item. Now buyers can leave negative feedback and the seller can't leave negative as well. This leaves open possiblities of people threatening to leave negative if you dont' send them back some of their money if not all of it.

Re: Hubby sells games.

I think more overweight people should do exercise videos personally. *shrug*

Really? Cause I've bought a couple things in the past few days and sellers left positive feedback for me...

Re: Hubby sells games.

They can leave positive, but not negative as long as the buyer actually paid for the item.

I'd buy a video if the person in it was overweight and over the period of time and viewable on the videos, they lost weight. That'd be motivation!
