San Francisco's Creative Cremains mixes cremated ashes and flower seeds into the paper they use to make their handmade death-announcement cards. The cards are intended for grieving friends or relatives, who can cut them into pieces and plant them to create a flowering garden memorial. Cost: $300 and up.

That's really cool. If I wasn't terrified of fire, even after death I would want to do this.


And the "Have you ever bought your wife the wrong gift"? commercial. lol

that's a cool idea. and more inexspensive than a coffin and burial. my spouse wants to be "thrown into a pine box and tossed into a hole in the ground without embalming and s**t so the worms can recycle me.". i've told him state law prohibits this. but the flower cremains might work for him.
