If marriage means you fell in love, does divorce mean you climbed out?

I hope you're right. :)

I think it depends on the person and each of our destiny.

Assuming we have one.

yeah i agree. and if we dont have a destiny it just matters on who we are as a person. i dunno, alot of factors play into it. but i believe that love can last forever--but i also believe it can go to hell too. my head is not in the clouds.

i really don't know. alot of things happen in life that lead me to think maybe there is a destiny; for instance someone not going to the trade center on 9/11 because their kid had their first day of school or something, etc. is that destiny? is it destiny to have a gut feeling to pick up something at just the right time (such as a news paper and find out something just in time you might as well not have known) or make one turn on the way home instead of your usual way? etc. you get the point. or is stuff just nudging us in the right direction and we make our own choices ultimately? who knows.

but i will tell you something that i HAVE learned, and as cliche as this might sound, everything happens for a reason. the reason i know this is because many things have happened to me and i know that if one thing was slightly moved out of place in those events in my life then i would be somewhere else right now. who knows where, maybe a worse place, maybe better.

this goes into the whole theory of why scientists wouldnt want to go back in time, even to the age where dinosaurs were, etc: because if they step on something they aren't supposed to step on, or change something even slightly, then something in todays time can feel that effect. the scientists wont know what they're going back to. lol.

have i bored you?

Not at all.

You've actually opened up the possibility for a whole bunch of other conversations.

What about the theory of alternate universes?

Where each of your choices are played out somewhere else by an alternate version of you.

It's a lot to think about. I'm not sure how I feel about it...

i dont quite understand what you mean by "Where each of your choices are played out somewhere else by an alternate version of you."

but here is a good question: is it really you in that alternate universe? if people have souls are those souls spread out through these alternate universes? if it's really you why aren't you aware of yourself? what's really going on here!

It's exactly what it says.. like each choice we make is a different piece of confetti that falls in with a whole new group of confetti depending on what we do at those crossroads.. I'm tired, this may not make any sense...

And what if each alternate version of us is a piece to what makes up our soul as a whole?

and the simple reason of that is because of lover, tim. i dont think i would have ever known him. and i know that whatever hardships we face in the future its better WITH him and knowing him.

and oh my god i sound like one of those girls who i hate! kill me now

i cant tell, i'm just thankful for what happened to me. i would never know of tim or the path that happened to me, you know what i'm saying? i can only really say that it was fate because it really looks that way to me. you know?
