Dollars for the singing dead. [Apr. 8th, 2008|02:24 pm]

[music |Alive - Jekyll & Hyde]

One of the oldest accounts of ghosts is in the Egyptian Book of the Dead, which shows dead people reappearing much as they did before death, including the style of dress.

I'm going to regret this... but have you ever has a visit from a ghost? I've had two, with the second recurring too often to count.

And this is awesome. You click and they give a DOLLAR per click for battered women! If you all clicked we would have over 800 dollars donated in one day, PLUS whatever your friends click if you pass it on.

And your video. :) Very obvious lipsynching. Cracked me up.

Aww, bummer. It's such an easy show to get right, if you have a good cast and director. Did they set it in any different time period? What artistic (if any. ;) ) choices did they make?

And a lot of original musicals are, but every now and then there's a Floyd Collins and it's worth it. ;)

And hot actors definitely help a production. ;)

It was set in present day. I can't actually think of any artistic choices that stood out to me. The theatre though, is very actor-centered, so their shows in general are purposefully pared down. It was particularly bloody, I can say that. LOL And the kids who were killed onstage died very well. LOL!

In present day? Youd have to do so much GOOD directing to make that work. Irritating!!

And they killed the kids on stage? I honestly don't know how I feel about that.

I'm glad they're actor-centric. You can get some incredible performances that way.

The kids killing was onstage, but it was the most theatrically done. Most of the other killings were by guns (with decent blood effects) and strangulation/suffocation that were realistic. But the kids were more artfully done, er, as far as killing kid can go (though it was still obviously horrific. haha)
