It takes 4 years and 8 month to receive your FBI file by making the appropriate request.

Do you think the FBI have a file on you? I bet they do on me. I was involved in lots of protests back in the day. Plus I'm hardcore like that.. fbi file. hehe. ;) I just might need to find out hat the appropriate request process is. I want to see now. ;)

http://foia.fbi.gov/foia_instruc.htm In case you're interested, there you go. :)

Also, does the UK, Australia, Canada, and other various places those of you that don't live in the states, have an FBI equivalant?

And this sweet little girl can really sing! Aww! :) She melted Simon Cowell's heart. ;) I must be hormonal, cause I cried.

It takes that long? Good lord. It no wonder people tend to go around everything and just steal files.

Well that's not a good idea. LOL. That's a super good way to get a demerit on your file. haha. ;)

I would guess I have a file from being in the military, but it's probably pretty thin cuz I never do anything wrong. ;-)

in the UK we have MI5. they hold files on all the subversives. rather entertainingly, most of our ruling party qualify. of course, they're happy establishment fill-yer-boots capitalists now.

If the FBI has a file on me, they must be REALLY bored.

I think that Simon is the best actor in the world, and knows what makes good TV (not that that kid wasn't adooorable, but I have a hard time believing he REALLY cared THAT much).

That being said, I'd still totally do him.

I never did anything but peaceful protests. :) And I better not give specifics. lol. Generally speaking against racism, bigotry and war. I think that about covers it.

Oh really!? I have an ex who was a marine, and he used to have disparaging things to say about all of the other branches. I wish I could remember them. Hmph.

And isn't she sweet?

Is that Benjamin Linus in your icon!? *puts LOST goggles on*

The FBI has a file on me cuz of background checks for work and permits. To be employed by a utility you gotta have a good record, so the file consists of "did background check - ok." lol.

Do you remember that L&O ep when Munch finally got his file? He brought a car to pick it up expecting volumes and volumes and got one page saying something to the effect of "Mostly harmless." Loved it!

I've always wanted to try and read my own FBI file. I'm not very old so I can't see why they'd have so much on me, but I am curious nonetheless. Plus I assassinated my local governor.

I'm guessing by knowing my husband I get a little tick mark but I hope to add some stuff to a file sooner or later. All those computers, all those programs, yet bureaucracy and stupidity still win.

I'm sure we'd have something here Down Under, but it certainly doesn't spring to mind. I wouldn't have a file coz I imagine there's no section for "People Interested in Historical Underclothes and Feminine Hygiene".
