Every year, surgical tools are left in approximately 1,500 patients in the USA. Heavier patients are more prone to having a surgical tool left inside of them due to the additional amount of space in their bodies.

My mom knows an old man whose doctor left a ten-pound sandbag ON HIS TESTICLES for three days... the poor man was too medicated to tell anyone what was wrong until his wife heard him whispering "balls!" Dayum. I'm not even a male, but that hurts me just to think about!!!
