[music |The Berenstein Bears]

In January, sanitation workers in Nairobi,
Kenya, finally, after 10 years of complaints, cleaned up the
Wakulima Market (the country's largest fruit and vegetable
facility), dislodging an estimated 750 tons of garbage, 38 tons of
human waste, and about 6,000 rats.

That makes me think of swimming in Lake Erie when I was younger. At one point they had to close off all the beaches because the fecal content was 'above the limit'. All I could think was "There's a limit?" and "How high IS the limit?" *shivers* Humans are so gross.

I think that they dissolve it once it gets through the sewer system to the sanitation area, don't they?

O_o

There's always something to be thankful for. I'm thankful I'm not a Nairobi sanitation worker!
