In 1958 Crayola renamed their Prussian Blue crayon Midnight Blue. The change was made because teachers felt that children no longer related to Prussian history. Colors were renamed only twice more in corporate history. Flesh was changed to Peach in 1962, and Indian Red became Chestnut in 1999.
