Science experiment time! :) Make your water freeze!
According to studies at both The University of Iowa School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University, there is no evidence that sugar causes hyperactivity in children.
Yeah, my ass.
Sprite doesn't have more caffeine then coke. Mountain dew does though.
Gingerale's where it's at for me when I'm nauseated.
Ginger Ale tends to make me more sick. I seriously don't like the way it tastes. x_x
Interesting! *shrug* Helps me for some reason. Probably because I remember people giving it to me when I was sick and little, so I have good child memories associated with it.
Sprite doesn't have any caffeine in it period.
Mountain Dew does, though.
And canola oil. Mountain Dew contains a not-unmeasurable amount of canola oil. Gives it that slick taste.
Ooh! I was wondering what helped with that. Interesting!!
Sunflower oil is what makes Pringles tastes so.. sunflowery. haha. ;)
Love Pringles, but there is no naturally occurring Pringle Plant out there, sadly. And my body has finally said to me, HEY! Hunter/Gatherer design here, what the heck have you been doing with it? Now it's all fat and mooshy and the fuel you gave it has gummed up the works!
Which is why I wish I'd never been given the habit of eating sweets and junk-snacks, and would recommend against feeding sugary food or pure starchy food to kids. It's not a problem until you get the cumulative build-up. Hyperactivity is wonderful compared to type 2 diabetes.
Agreed. I think it's okay for kids to indulge once in awhile. What I don't understand are the parents that are letting their kids drink coke at like 2.. it just makes my stomach turn.
They don't know any better.
I had a long rant, but ... meh. Stupid brainwashed parents are good consumers.
