Before settling on the name of Tiny Tim for his character in "A Christmas Carol", three other alliterative names were considered by Charles Dickens. They were: Little Larry, Puny Pete and Small Sam.
And.. LOL This one's a funny one. It's from the 1981 Tony's apparently.. and it's Patti Lupone who was the original Evita on Broadway. Now, I'm not a huge fan of her.. for a few reasons, but one of them is her diction.
Someone reposted the broadcast and did subtitles.. as to what it sounds like she's singing. Hysterical.
