What was your favorite toy as a child?

Mine was a Mickey Mouse village, that I lost in a fire.

Oh, and dolls. I loved dolls.

And an entire wedding party doing the Thriller dance!

And hey, what's this?

Two youtubes in one day!

Well, I can't recall if I posted that Thriller video or not all ready, so just to be on the safe side...

And this.. is just odd. *blink* A little boy singing Britney Spears "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and his Mom comes and scares him at the end. But the thing that really gets me is the comments.

Screw that!!! If a little kid wants to sing.. even if he's singing music from a sub-par "musician" I think he/she should be encouraged! Kids don't get enough outlet for creative expression in todays society, and.. well.. Okay. Stepping off the soapbox. Have a nice day ya'll. ;)

Doesn't it suck to have your favorite toys destroyed? :(

I lost a cat too in that fire, which was devastating. But everyone else was all right. Just more material stuff. I hope your family was safe?

I liked those kitchen play things too. And dollhouses. I looooved playing with my friends dollhouses.

Yeah, thankfully the fire was at a storage shed we were keeping things in while we moved. No one was injured...just my poor plastic typewriter and some other things that didn't make the first round of House Move (including my dad's 1980 St Louis Cardinals Full Team box of baseball cards...which I looked up the value for once he told me about it, and wanted to cry).

Yes indeed with the dollhouses. I always wanted one of those as well...but nope. I had to make my own out of boxes. I got pretty good at it eventually--my Barbies were the coolest box-bums on the street! LOL

*wince* Bummer.

LOL! Me too! I always used the little plastic things that held up pizza boxes as end tables. haha

LOL, ditto! And they made great chairs when my bigger dolls came over to hang out. :)
