it was considered a bad thing if somebody had the hiccups at my last job. Of course, i worked at the biggest liquor store in SC
LOL. Funny! Did you get in trouble? haha!
it was more along the lines of a point and laugh and "I know what you were doing" sort of thing. The odd thing is, I don't drink (never have) so it was really funny when I got them.
I hate hiccups.
I love the concept of Urban Flora. Cool!
Hey did you see that dancing bird I posted about? And today's hippo...
I did. Awesome awesome stuff. ;)
Isn't the Uran Flora neat? I'd love to run into that.
Yes it is a fantastic idea!
God, I hate having the hiccups. They hurt, and they never go away :(
LOL @ your icon. that makes me like wendy so much better.
Well, eventually, But it feels like forever. ;)
.. You have had non stop hiccups your entire life?
No, just everytime I have them. They last an hour :(
... Yeah. That's not uncommon.
That's not forever. If they stope ventually, they stop eventually..
Ohh I know, lol. It happens when I get them and everytime I breathe while having them.
I prefer to blame hiccups and all other medical phenomenon on demonic spirits. Or sometimes evil spells cast by witches.
LOL. An old fashioned sentiment but a good one. ;)
thank you for that info... as I get hiccups too often :)
You're welcome! They're a bitch, aren't they?
That's actually one hiccup cure that I haven't tried! The one that always works for me is drinking a full glass of water while holding your breath.
But how would you even do that? I don't understand. lol
Well you chug a glass of water as fast as you can without taking a breath! It seems to somehow drown out the hiccups. It's always worked for me.
Ooh! I see now. I'm slow. I will try that next time. Thanks for the tip!
the best way to cure hiccups is to drink water from a glass upside down (leaning over the glass and having to drink the water by way of the roof of your mouth)
Works every time
Yeah, I have afriend who can do that. I just.. I don't understand the concept and trying to do it has without fail only ever really irritated me.
And it makes you feel crummy for the rest of the day. :(
