[music |The Mirror/Blue Night - Spring Awakening OBC]

I found this really cool story about an opera that was performed in New York on the night of September 11 2001. From what I know, it was an out of town engagement, and even though all of Broadway had went dark this company of performers decided that those that came to see the show needed a distraction, so they didn't turn anyone away. They performed their opera, and refunded everyone their money as well.

Does anyone know more about this then me? I'm having a hard time finding any information on the net about it, even though that's where I originally found it.

In the mean time: There are approximately 226,000 trees in Central Park.

And the art of spinning a pen.

I do not. :)

I hadn't been back to New York since I lived there years ago.. and I went and I saw that, and Moon for the Misbegotten and The Pirate Queen, and Les Miserables. It was time for me to be back.

You know next fall they're doing a tour a national tour of SA?
