I think that they just see sharp little angles and shapes... I could be wrong though...
I don't know. I imagine small children are confused too..
LOL, they would mean about as much to them (the illiterate) as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai characters (as well as the host of created symbols used in quantum physics) mean to me... just a bowl full of symbols.
Oooh. Symbols. I love symbolic things.
*stares into bowl of Cheerios*
D'oh! They gypped me. I can't spell anything but "ooooo."
i wonder about dyslexic people as well.
I imagine more then illiterate.
What if your alphabet soup starts spelling "REDRUM?"
Then you're in trouble.. because it's not tomato base. It's blood.
they probly do the same as alphabet cerceal and spitgette wow this is one tastey funny looking shaped food
Maybe their mind just morphes the letters into little animals.
We all love little animals!
what is the full effect of alphabet soup?
An educational and appetizing experience.
hahaha, awww poor illeterate kids
I wasn't trying to be mean!
I guess "Hooked on Phonics" didn't work for them.
Nope. But they can always arrange the letters into fun shapes, like kangaroos, or the Titanic.
Oooh! *twirls with Leonardo Dicaprio*
whats cool about alphabet soup, is seeing how many of one thing you have, so, they can recognize shapes, even if they dont recognize its a letter, so yah, they probably get an idea of it ..my silly lil oppinion:)
Very few opinions are silly. :)
I'm sure all they do is ask someone to help them memorize what such choice words as "penis" and "boobs" look like so that they can later have hours of fun with their alphabet soup...
I mean, who needs to read when you can just memorize "penis" and "boobs"?
It's true. I've memorized select words in different languages for such purposes.
