do people dress up for wal mart?
i have never been...
I've been there, but never dressed up. :)
Nor have I ever seen anyone dressed up there.
Woo! Really cool video :)
OMIGOSH! I was going to Wal-mart the other day, but I broke a heel! There was no way I was going with my red dress and green pumps! I was so heartbroken. I ended up having to go to the Dollar Palace instead. :,( *emocri*

Dressed up for Wal-Mart?
What does she wear when she goes to Wal-Mart? A cocktail dress? Lol.
Not the Walmarts I go to, man.
so i don't go to wal-mart myself, but we have know idea of this woman's economic situation
further, we have no idea was she meant by "get all dressed up"; i mean, this could be the difference between sweatpants and jeans with a belt
and trust me, as i college student, i fully appreciate the difference
And wal-mart is pretty bad, of course, but it helps a whole segment of population who can't afford anything else and have no other options -- to that end, it's sort of a good thing
and then there are those towns where wal-mart takes over and there's no place else to go
you can't really blame the people in the town when that happens
i'm not trying to support wal-mart here, i just feel like we're making fun of someone who has no real other options and is probably not in the best financial situation
not really fair, eh? and a little mean, too, wouldn't you think?
i do hope i'm not throwing myself to the wolves here
this isn't meant to be as annoying and self-righteous as i think it may be interpreted
that video is really cool
lord, i can't imagine choreographing that, much less shooting it!
I don't think it's mean at all.
I found the phrasing amusing.
I wear sweatpants when I go to Walmart all the time.
Have you ever been in a walmart? Have you seen what people wear? The idea of someone dressing up to go to Walmart is maybe the most ridiculous sentence I have ever seen peiced together.
I was making no comment on the politics at all about Walmart. None at all. I'm not even going to comment on that. I just think the idea of someone dresisng up to walmart is hysterical. :)
dressed up to go to wal-mart? do you see the people that go through there? dressed up? i don't think so. it's like going to mc donald's (which is in wal-mart too)...hm. maybe someday i'll wear a prom dress in there. and just chill with ronald.
LOL!~ If so I want pictures. The sharp contrast would be hysterical.
Hey, what of Procol Harum do you like? Is it a substantial body of work, or is it just the awesome single I know "Paler Shade of White"?
I like Shine on Brightly too, but I love me some Whiter Shade of Pale. :)
The difference between myself and my husband is that he will "dress up" to go to Walmart. I.e. - he will not go unless he's had a shower. He will wear khaki's and a decent shirt with sleeves, etc.
Now, me - I'll go there in the middle of camping trip, in muddy sweatpants and my hair stuffed in a ball cap.
LOL. I've never worn anything like that to Walmart. Like it's ratty jeans all the way or sweat pants.
I get funny looks otherwise.
My dad won't go -anywhere- if he's not had a shower. When he was building our shed, he needed to go to the lumberyard to get something.... and he showered and changed into nice clothes to go. IT'S A FRIGGEN -LUMBERYARD!-!!!
GEEEZ. Not me. I like bumming around.
That newspaper clipping is hilarious! I really hope that most people don't think they're dressing up when they're going to Wal-Mart. I've seen pajama pants, hair in curlers, house slippers and other things you should keep inside your own house in Wal-Mart.
I always love when you share Star Wars things with us. :)
lol! I know. It's like "What in the hell are you doing in public in that!?!" place of the world.
And yay. Glad someone likes the Star Wars love. :)
