That film clip can't be for real! lol
That can't be all of the faces. Then include all the innocent Civilians in Iraq...
It's totally not for real, but it's real fun! It said something about being for some short film I thought I read.
-- And no, of course not. I never said it was all the faces, babe... Just some of the faces of some of the soldiers that have died.
Can you imagine how big a picture would have to be to include the images of all those who have died since this has begun?
Thankfully, my sister's face is not in that picture of that God awful abomination of a President.
With all due respect...
Why? And how?
That man's presidency is a complete and utter failure and a disaster for the country.
Seeing that picture makes me cry a little. It's just heartbreaking.
Lately that man is just downright pathetic with his bullshit.
He's always been pathetic.
I've gotten to the point where I can't even LOOK at a picture of him without having an anxiety attack.
I am seriously -amazed- no one had killed that man yet. Even with security and everything... so many people hate him.... all security can do is kill you after you kill him. I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't mind.
A friend of mine enlisted in the Marines after 9/11. He survived Afghanistan and got sent to Iraq. I haven't heard from him in about 3 or 4 years. I don't know if he's alive.
I'm against all war. Non-violence works: Ghandi did it, MLK did it. Hell, John Lennon did it, and that scared the shit out of our government. So much so they attempted to deport him. We need to find a way to make it work on a HUGE scale. Will not happen in our lifetime, but I think it's possible.
I'm probably just really naive.
It will never happen. We'll always have people like Dumbya who are too chicken-shit to actually serve themselves but have the power to send others off to die for their cause.
This whole administration is made up of chickenhawks. Ready to fight, as long as someone else does the actual fighting. A bunch of sissies who act tough, talk tough, but never served themselves.
The whole thing is sickening!
Bush bears a lot of the blame, but our entire system is set up to ensure we continue to engage in wars like the one going on in Iraq right now. Have you seen that documentary "Why we fight"? That movie dissects the military-industrial complex pretty thoroughly.
I have not seen it. I'll check it out.
thats a really rough picture. not sure how i feel about that.
At least they were doing something. Making a statement that they supported.
It's nice to see people out there that care enough to make a stand.. even if it doesn't turn into anything bigger.
the picture's kinda ironic i'd say. in a sick way.
we need peace.
wow that is so sad all those people...effective piece tho. hey thanks for adding me, peace, nancy
