Get your own valentinr
I've been commenting on yours when I find them. :) If you feel so inclined, there's mine!
And your fact!
In France over 30,000 werewolf cases were tried between 1520 and 1630.
wish *I* was a werewolf...
Werewolf's are cool :)
I wish someone sends me valentines :( I always spend it alone :(
I'm more partial to Vampires. :)
- Why haven't you posted a Valentinr?
And there's no reason yo spend valentines day alone. If you have friends, family, or a way to go out, and meet new people, you should. Otherwise it's just a pity party, isn't it?
I tried to, but it wouldn't let me :(
My friends and I are going out to eat junk, lol.
That's a lot of lycanthropy for one country. But why did they need a trial? Seems to me all you'd have to do is tie the defendant up really well and wait for a moonlit night. If he changes, guilty. If not, innocent.
But then the ancient French legal system was very, very odd. They actually tried animals they same way they tried people. There was a movie about it, but I forget the title. I did find this though...http://abc.net.au/animals/program4/factsheet1.htm
Well, that would be the ideal way to try it, but that's far to easy.
Same thing with the "witches" that were tied to blocks of heavy things and thrown into the water.. if you float you're a witch.. otherwise you drown and die.. and then... you're not a witch, but you're dead?
Ahh. The olden days. :)
And yeah!!! I have one of those animal trial things waiting to be a randompost one of these days. ;)
I'd love to know the criteria for determining someone was a werewolf.
Perhaps extra hairy-ness? ;) Haha. That'd be interesting.
"you are hairy...i think you are a werewolf."
Hah! I wish there was a guidebook for it. ;)
