Since 1970, Americans have incraesed their caloric intake by 25%. Now up to an average of 2,700 calories every day which translates to extra pounds. This extra weight costs the nation as much as $93 billion more in annual medical bills and taxpayers bear half the cost.
AWESOME Stop Motion video. Very cool. I love it.
Mac and Cheese? Pfft. Sounds fine to me. I bet you're lovely.
hehe, I just had some tonight. I luuuuurve mac and cheese.
Oooh, saved for later use! :)
that is a really awesome video. I love the song. And her dresses are adorable.
2700 calories?! That's enough to feed TWO people, quite well.
The US government is actually considering taxing junk food like alcohol and smokes...I'm all for it. Though, I doubt it will make a huge difference. If nothing else, people will make the connection between a "sin tax" type policy and the food they eat and think twice. I know a lot of people who quit smoking when it got too pricy, and they're better for it.
I used to be a fatty, and have since become a nutrition nut.
Blame weight watchers for warping me ;)
I think there's a healthy medium. There's nothing wrong with indulging, it's just a matter of indulging in extremes.
Same as I think abstianing in extremes can be negative for someone. *shrug*
You're right! It's all about moderation.
Don't give up ice cream--just take note of the intended serving size. Cutting things out completely is WAY too tempting, diets don't work that way.
2700 calories a day... I think the goverement should get out of the medical insurance trade and go back to doing the job that the U.S. Constitution has outlined them to do. I feel that it is a freedom of choice issue if you chose eat to much and well get sick and die well, that sucks for you I sould not have to pay for it. Nor should I have to pay for the Hillary Clinton's socialist dream world. Remeber Hitler started out singing the socialist dream song. Let them eat cake.
Wow. What an interesting analogy.
I don't think we're going to agree on most political subjecs. :)
So why do we have to pay for Bush's Christian theocracy?
mac & cheese isn't THAT calorie filled.
jesus; that's a lot of calories! i have been consuming about that many for a week or so (i get hungry once a month, capiche? i know it's tmi), but i FREAK out, cuz i'm AWARE that i'm putting on the pounds.
how the fuck could one do that regularly? *pukes*
Meh. Not so hard, really. Especially if you're not paying attention.
Did the video on here work?
