The Food and Drug Adminsitration says the most common injury from cosmetics comes from scratching the eye with an mascara wand.

Owwy. Never done that in truth. Poked my eye with eyeliner though. Oww.

What's your worst makeup experience? ;)

And I'm all about the bizarre videos lately. ;)

For a few years now, I've been playing faery characters at various Renaissance festivals, in plays, etc. Teh traditional spirit-gum-and-prosthesis method for ears was really not working for us: for one thing, it was hard to get the ears to look like anything approaching real, and some us had a problem using the spirit gum. (Don't know if it was a body chemistry thing when we were sweating or just the heat, but the stuff wouldn't stick for beans.) After experimenting with various methods, some of us came up with something new: nail glue. It's non-toxic, bonds instantly, super-adhesive, and will wash off with a little warm water and scrubbing. I've occasionally lost little bits of skin, but I've never passed out from blood loss, so I stick with the method. :) (No pun intended. Ouch.) It helps, though, if you have really small ears; that awy yours ears will fold and flue down easily, and look very pointed. :)

Don't know if that qualifies as a worst makeup experience, since it works, but it's certianly the craziest and most potentially dangerous thing I've ever done with makeup. :)
