Cole Porter got a kick from fudge. He had nine pounds of it shipped to him each month from his hometown.
Wasn't there a kid nicknamed Fudge in one of the Judy Blume novels?
Yes. And a Minister of Magic named Fudge in the Harry Potter books. :)

Cole Porter was a great American composer who lived from 1891-1964. He gave us such songs as "Don't Fence Me In" and the musical "Kiss Me Kate." The movie "De-Lovely" is the story of his life. He hailed from a small town in Indiana and traveled to many places, including Paris and Hollywood.
Mmmm...fudge...dude, I love that stuff.

kewlness, thank you for the input! I've been out of high school for 5 years now and I'm working on getting my arse into college, so hopefully I can lern things like that!
Cole Porter was a pretty famous composer.. He wrote "Anything Goes" That has the song "I get kick from champagne, mere alcohol doesn't thrill me at all..." and "I get no kick from cocaine..." Written in like the early thirties. It was good stuff. :)
