Karaoke for the deaf.

Totally awesome!!

And men who donate blood have a 30% reduced risk of heart disease compared to those who do not. The difference is attributed to reduced levels of iron following a blood donation.

Huh...Maybe there was something to the medieval practice of bleeding people after all.

I'd heard that, too. Sadly the wandering uterus goes largely untreated by today's so-called "doctors" ;)

Not to disparage the generosity of those who give blood, but that "study" sounds specious at best. A much more likely explanation is that people who give blood are more aware of health issues to begin with, and thus are less likely to smoke or overeat.

Amusingly enough that skit wouldn't work well without the music, I'd have no idea what was going on at all. haha

Also, you should check out some of the other skits by the Hollow Men. If you go to www.comedycentral.com and go to motherload and search for them, you'll find some great skits form their show. Very Monty Python-esque. The show didn't last that long on Comedy Central though. It's extremely bizarre and unfortunately, that sort of humor doesn't seem to get the ratings on that station.

Cool video!

My high school principal would regularly donate 2 units of blood to rid his body of excess iron. I don't remember what caused him to have so much iron in his blood, though. (He was so annoying; I just kind of nodded and said, "M'kay" when it was discussed. :P
