LOL! Terrrible, absolutely freakin' terrible. But rather funny too. It's a Belgian talk show about men who have had their testicles removed.. and the talk show host keeps cracking up every time the guy he's interviewing starts talking... I assume that it's not real... but still pretty amusing. :)

Bette Davis committed one of the greatest boo-boos of her career when she turned down the role of Scarlett O’Hara for the film Gone With The Wind. Davis was under the impression that the male lead would be played by Errol Flynn, and she refused to work with him. The role of Scarlett was finally awarded to Vivien Leigh, playing opposite Clark Gable. The rest is history.

HahI I was wondering when you were going to notice that. ;)

Have you seen Vivien in either A Streetcar Named Desire or Anna Karenina? You should check them both out. She's amazing.

Re: My goodness...

You'll like the others. ;) A Streetcar Named Desire... the character she plays, Blanche has a lot of Scarlett's characteristics... in fact, so does Anna Karenina.

After watching it, I really wanted a guy who understood me like the guy Clark Gable played understood Scarlett.

Ahh, we all want a Rhett, I think. :) I know I do. And I used to want an Ashley before I read the book.

Oh fiddle-de-dee

I just can't picture Bette Davis in that role. Don't get me wrong, she did some great stuff, but Vivien Liegh was perfect as Scarlett.

Re: -

It's pretty good. You have to go into it knowing the frame of reference that it takes place in, and also when it was filmed. A lot of people get really offended by it, but I choose not to get too riled up over it.
