Whatcha wearing for Halloween? [Oct. 31st, 2006|08:20 am]
[mood |amusedamused]
[music |Mack the Knife]

There once was an old man who was loved by everyone in the town where
he lived. When he died, they buried him at a scenic location along a
river. A few days later there was a great rain storm and the river
flood coffin was carried along the river in to the town. The casket
flowed down the street past the supermarket and the school all the
way into the pharmacy. It slid right in to the pharmacy and onto the
counter. The lid popped open and the old man sat straight up and
asked the pharmacist - "Do you have anything to stop this coffin? "

(And on a not so fun note... I just went through FOUR links of Youtube's I had saved that were removed for violation of terms of service or what not. Dangit. :( I'm changing my opinion on the Youtube Acquisition. Boo.)

Speaking of unfriendly acquisitions...

That's Hitler... rapping. It's funny/disturbing/bizarre... Quite strange. Interested in your opinions. -- Probably nsfw.. cause it's arguably the most evil man of the past century. Though it is Halloween... I dunno. just wanting to be careful. ;)

Be safe.

Check your candy. Check your kids candy.

Don't go into strangers houses unless it's guaranteed amazing action... ;)

You know the drill.

I think it's cool to have Hitler rapping. Yes, he killed an assload of people, many of them with religious beliefs similar to mine, which is exactly why it's funny to show him in this light. This video takes Hitler out of the Douchebag Hall of Fame and puts him in a situation where he is less harmful, much like when Family Guy made Hitler into a gay talk show host.

Humor is a perfect way to deal with a tragedy. It's like saying "Hey, some bad shit happened, but at least there's a good laugh we can get out of it." Sometimes if I can get a really good joke as a result of something bad happening to me, it almost feels like the bad experience was worth it. If you deny people the ability to make fun of sorrowful events, then you prevent them from making lemons out of lemonade.
