Oh yeah.. Mananama goodness.
All the proceeds earned from James M. Barrie's book "Peter Pan" were bequeathed to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for the Sick Children in London.
They say that he got the song from a 1960's S&M Lesbian Porn from Sweden. makes you wonder about him.
He? You mean Jim Henson?
Cause it wasn't JM Barrie... ;)
-- And nothing wrong with some good swedish bdsm, let me tell you. hehe
Right, meant Henson. And no, nothing wrong with it. Just hilarious how he got his sources for what would become a huge influence on the world's children
Where did you hear that/ I'd love to know the context.
I've heard that from numerous sources over the years. I don't know how true it actually is, but it would bejust too perfect if true.
It entertains me immensely. I will try and find more info on this whne not thoroughly exhausted.
I look forward to your findings.
Still pretty exhausted in truth. I shall search soon. :)
i love that book... i love the way it was written, so whimsical.
I actually woke up thinking about that little song, so weird that you posted it.
I have a mini psychic connection to you each. ;)
That was sweet :) He was such a nice man :)

Muppet memories light the corners of my mind.
Great...now I'm going to be hearing "manamana, do do do do do" all day in my head. Man that takes me back...watching TV with Mom and Dad (pre-divorce) while laying on that tacky brown shag carpet we had. I must have been like 6 or 7 or something...
Actually, you've been posting a lot of nostalgia stuff lately. The gun thing and now the muppets. I may have to start singing "Sunrise, Sunset" or something ;)

Re: Muppet memories light the corners of my mind.
