After months of going back and forth, it is apparently official ... the possibility of a series-ending "Deadwood" movie is no longer. According to independent cinema Web site, "Cinematical," Ian McShane, who played the infamous Al Swearingen on the HBO series, said they are tearing down the set and the movies promised to wrap up the series are not going to happen.
McShane told Cinematical Sunday "they're dismantling the ranch and taking the stuff out. That ship is gonna sail. Bonsoir, Deadwood."
McShane will spend the next few months filming his upcoming movie, "The Dark is Rising."
