According to a recent poll, the cult movie/series that is believed to have the most interesting group of followers is The Rocky Horror Picture Show at 50.9 percent of the votes, followed by Star Trek at 23.9 percent

I would wager that Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars fans can't be too far off either... :)

I know his shirt says "Women want me" but it would be so much more interesting if it said "Men want me" like we can see.

a wake eh....... hehe i'll put ya to sleep the only way i know how... we going to need some whipcream =p
it's going to be a lot of icecream.... GET your mind out of the gutter hehehe ;)

but anys lord of the ring and star wars isn't hehe a cult movie or a series....

which is odd to group those together... i wonder what it could be just being it own catagory???

I would think Rocky would still win but if it wasn't there i think the follow up would be Donnie Darko love that movie

But everyone likes Donnie Darko.. it's not like a unique audience like Rocky and Star Trek are. I mean.. my Dad liked Donnie Darko and he's avg joe.

I think people need to have heard of and seen a movie for it to be considered.

hehehe. ;)

Star Wars and LotR fans are WAY cooler than Star Trek fans.

Well, ok... except for the greasy dudes who buy up all the rare figures to sell at their kiosks, and know the backstory of every minor character in the Cantina.    :(

But hey, you can find people like that in any hobby.

hehe. I used to make up stories for the cantina folk, but that's because I roleplayed Star Wars.

So I may have just trumped your aforementioned "Star Wars fans are way cooler!" theory. hehe

I'd agree with that.... People go all out and dress up for Rocky and Star Trek conventions.

I've never even seen the Star Wars movies....I was born a trekkie-loyalist, even though i'm not super crazy about it, it still is better than star wars looks.

And RHPS will beat everything forever! ...'cept the Princess Bride, which would be awesome if they'd have conventions for...i'd go as often as possible!

How do you know if you've never seen a Star Wars movie? With the exception of the "prequels" or whatever crap you want to call that, Star Wars in my experence is muuuch better then Star Trek. The plots much more dynamic, universal and compelling, I found. *shrug* To each their own though of course. :)

i would believe it, i was talking to my friend about rocky horror picture show... she showed me pictures from the show in santa monica, and there are so many people, so many crazy people in drag. in their underwear, or with shiny red Vs on their foreheads and cheeks.

it attracts such a diverse group of people, whereas LoTR and Star Trek/Wars really only attracts science geeks and fantasy nerds. (no offense)... rocky horror gets most everyone who isn't straightlaced to join in the time warp, and yell "slut" at the screen, throwing things worse than popcorn at the screen.

GOOD TIMES!

I think so too, but we're definitely the coolest. I wonder if "interesting" in this context isn't meant in a positive way?
