i would just buy my own chicken at that rate
That is a crime.
It drives me nuts that I kiss almost $300.00 goodbye every month just for my family's healthcare.

Re: So sad.
That sucks. I pay almost $200.00 a month just for myself. They cut our hours at work and raised our premiums. Between that and the price of gas I almost need to get a second job. God help me when the heat bills start up again.
I know!!! It's bad bad bad bad bad stuff, folks. :.(
Yeah, it really sucks. :(
I want to know your sources...
That one I got off of a pharmaceutical benefit company page.

I would not want their water bill
We get *reamed* on health care. I'm all for a universal coverage/single-payer system like every other industrialized democracy in the world provides its citizens. As it is, we pay more per capita on health care than any other country on earth, often with worse outcomes, usually because an insurance provider doesn't want to pay for preventative care.
But then whenever I say that I get called a commie...

If that makes you a commie, sign me up, and I'll start wearing red. I'm on the same page with you 100%!
Well...to be fair, though...there's beem mo real progress on the egg. It hasn't changed much; it's still an egg. No one's doing massive, expensive research and testing on it, no one's designing equpiment to aid it, no one's going through years of backbeaking training to learn how to use it..
So, yeah, I agree with just about everyone else, we pay way too much for healthcare - mediins in particular - but the comparison isn't quite the same.
True, but why is aspirin going up so much in price too, you know? Like $7 for a bottle of aspirin, of which they don't do any more studies at all... I mean, that's just thievery.
sweet jesus! thats an expensive omelette

Awww! I love the flushing kitty. I wonder if the owners shut the door when they're out? That can get expensive if they're on city/county water. Phew!
I'm so glad TP and eggs haven't exploded in price like medical care! In 2001, 4 units of whole blood cost around $1500...Yep. That was insane! I think we'd all be down to using leaves and raising chickens again if they cost so much. (Chickens are evil! Evil!)
Seriously! SOOOO much money!!!!
::giggles:: That looks so much like my cat . . . and she loves the toilet flushing, too. She has not yet tried pulling the handle, however!
Aww! Then your kitty is very cute!!!
Damn, no wonder my mom hates to shop, lol.
if communism didn't control our religion i would sign up! speaking of religion, this country pretty much as strict about religion if not socially, then governmentally as a communist country... did anyone see the episode of 30 days where the agnostic lived in the christian household? wow.. that was random.
hmm.. and yes, i wouldn't want their water bill either
And no I haven't seen the episode but I'm very interested.
