[music |A Conversation about a death of one of my favorite characters. :(]

A Tampa, Florida, court sentenced a 27 year old woman to five days in jail for telephoning her local police department just to say “I Love You.” She called on the emergency line at least 19 times during one eight hour shift, and up to eight times in a single hour.

And... bank robbing stockings make shopping fun. ;)

I live in Tampa and neither the "crime" nor the punishment surprise me.

Ha, I saw that when it actually aired, the Chaser boys are completely crazy :D It's not the worst nor the stupidest thing they've done either.

LOL! Oh dear. Can you think of anything particularly asinine that there might be a Youtube video of?

The show is called The Chasers War On Everything. Before that the same team had another tv show CNNNN (a spoof of a 24 hour cable TV news show).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkQ7JfXQvWg From the original CNNN. May be rather offensive to Americans... or they just won't get it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUaWRW0GI9Y The Chasers War on waiters who offer you cracked pepper with you meal.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWT3Rfn4dkg The boys road test Lynx deoderant after seeing the ad with Ben Affleck.

There are more, but those were some of the first to come to mind :D

Love Line

I don't know if they do it anymore since I don't listen, but they used to have this thing on Love Line called "Florida or Germany". They would tell a weird or crazy story and I believe callers would guess whether it happened in Florida or Germany. They had tons of hilarious stories all the time and it is disturbing they all only came out of those two places.

Re: Love Line

Haha! Awesome.

Well if there's two places that may have an abundance of stories I suppose... ;)

Now I want to listen to Loveline again, it's been AGES

This is true. I'd serve him.

He'd be in trouble some places in the states though.

I bet he'd get shot within an hour of going to different stores depending on the city.

Well, I can't really tell you because you may not have read the book yet... or someone else coming along might not have read the book.

Have you read Kushiel's Dart.

It's amaaaaazing.

If you haven't... I think you should. :) That's the random vote, anyhow.

And it was a guy I happened to adore.

And now he's nothing but a bust on the mantel.

YAY! The order is Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen, Kushiel's Avatar and Kushiel's Scion.

Definitely not a series you want to read out of order. ;)

And they're looooong, all at least 700 pages, but they're completely worth it, I promise.
