Take the five nearest books and...
Book 1 first sentence
Book 2 last sentence on page 50
Book 3 second sentence on page 100
Book 4 next to last sentence on page 150
Book 5 final sentence

*grabs 5 nearest books* Like so! :)

When a dire situation is at hand, safe and sane alternatives may not exist. Far be it from my heart, the thought thereof. Through their community parks, recreation departments, and fine schools, children may compete in almost any sport. I had an emergency. Now I must write again.

Your turn -- :) Looking forward to reading these. I have a really busy week coming up, so if I'm not around as much, my apologies, I'll try and catch up when things return to normal.

This looks too entertaining to pass up!

The night max wore his wolf suit and made mischief of one kind and another his mother called him "WILD THING!" Our whole reference as a physical and metaphysical being stems from that time reference which actually resides within the electromagnetic background of our planet. I woke up at 6 a.m. and walked to St. Francis Drive, which leads north to Chimayo. The least we can say is that Nostradamus saw two leaders using Monday and Thursday, respectfully, as their rest day and holy day. "Sweet dreams," they said, and I dreamed about my great bid medal.

That was fairly long... aye.

Tell me, Muse, of the man of many ways, who was driven far journeys, after he had sacked Troy's sacred citadel. The guards told me about depositories to which an arrested man's property is taken; I'd like to see these depository places sometime, where the hard-earned goods of arrested men are rotting away, if they haven't already been stolen by pilfering officials. I'll probably continue to point outavailable exits as we move along, but I'm not sure I'll pretend to put my heart into it again. Hence it isn't unreasonable for us to claim that they are two, and different from one another. The knife came down, missing him by inches, and he took off.

The compilation of an entirely new, fully comprehensive dictionary is always a formidable task. Finding an outlined square in your city's radius might even lead you to discover a rival city in unrevealed territory or outside of your units' observation range. Turn the small valve at the bottom of the chest, and then close it again to make the chest airtight. Users can abort an image load by clicking the Stop button on their Web browsers while the image is loading (which they typically do if the image is so large that they become impatient). See Part I.

That's a Spanish-English dictionary, booklet from Sid Meier's Civilization II, booklet of Myst Solutions, Javascript for Dummies, and HTML for Dummies, respectively.

Myst Solutions? As in the game about the computer game? If so that is awesome...I still take pride in being able to beat it in 3 minutes while my sister has been trying to beat it for years...hehe.

with his coming are the dread fires born again. "you teach your granny!" said Sam, with infinite contempt. Why his final words to her referenced the famous painting, Sophie had no idea, but she could think of only one possibility. The potent liquor seemed to draw all the coating from his throat. "they hunt," Raspu said, then looked at Sheol, "Now it is time for you to feed, my dear."

There's a guy like me in every state and federal prison in America, I guess-I'm the guy who can get it for you. Beacuse she enjoyed having her encyclopedic knowledge tested, I said, "Nineteen sixty-three." His shoulders stung like hell where the bloodthirsty Brit had bit him. While serving a six-year sentence for taking part of a $100,000 bribe to fix a drud-smuggling case, Collins continued to receive his federal salary from prison-he even got a raise. And then, together, you and I shall kill the Ra'zac and avenge our father.

Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. You could wear your best silks in Boston and not be frowned upon. There were tufts of sparse grass, a few bushes and rocks, and nearby he could see an area of thicker vegetation; broad, low trees outlined against the sky. There weren't any. He loved big btoher.

Took me awhile lol I was at work when I saw this! But okay.. here it is..

What is space? With his face hidden in his hands, he poured out the story of his meetings with Elvira. "Anything's possible I guess". Mr Montrose was of short stature, and somewhat like a thin walrus who had once been dark but had gone grey; his features were slightly aquiline, he had melancholy brown eyes, and big droopy grizzly moustaches and eyebrows. "Then I've got a hypothesis too. If that was it, either primary or secondary, to hell with ethics."

Ok here we go:

The term "automobile" is derived from the Greek word "autos", which means self, and the French word "mobile" which means moving. He touched the flint-headed ax, lost in thought. Magister Illyrio laughed lightly through his forked beard, but Viserys did not so much as smile. The great empire then dissolved into an extended period of plitical divisiveness, during which no one ruler of the several dozen petty kingdoms had the power to reunite the country until 589. The glance they exchanged was profound.

The terror, which would not end for another twenty-eight years--if it ever did end--began, so far as I know or can tell, with a boat made from a sheet of newspaper floating down a gutter swollen with rain. Because you DID kill him, Jessie. I swallowed, waited, listened to him breathe. It comes as no surprise that in some cultures, including our own, sexual infidelity discovered in progress by the aggrieved husband is viewed legally as a provocation that justifies retaliatory killing. Go, bid the soldiers shoot.

It (Stephen King), Gerald's Game (Stephen King), Nightmare Seasons (Charles L. Grant), Hamlet (Shakespeare).

I saw this and I couldn't help not doing it. Let's see...

Death, in this forsaken place, could come in countless forms. I'll try to put things back the way I found them. The real world had just smashed their happy little fairy grotto. Barbara followed them and the three of them played gangsters. Under the rule of this Queen, the Kingdom enjoyed its Golden Age.

To begin with, the art of jigsaw puzzles seems of little substance, easily exhausted, wholly dealt with by a basic introduction to Gestalt: the perceived object - we may be dealing with a perceptual act, the acquisition of a skill, a physiological system, or, as in the present case, a wooden jigsaw puzzle - is now a sum of elements to be distinguished from each other and analysed discretely, but a pattern, that is to say a form, a structure: the element's existence does not precede the existence of the whole, it comes neither before nor after it, for the parts do not determine the pattern, but the pattern determines the parts: knowledge of the pattern and of its laws, of the set and its structure, could not possibly be derived from discrete knowledge of the elements that compose it. They are rather to be regarded as points infinitely near eachother yet sufficiently far apart to admit of the insertion between them of a series of other 'inter-intermediate' places, between each of which must be imagined a chain of other resting-places - not, of course, strictly adjacent but to be arranged so as to admit of the application of this principle indefinitely. Don't get restless - I am coming back to the point. After this emptiness, this dizzy spell, it was as if I found myself suddenly in the center of pure, ineffable existence; it was as if things freed themselves of all arbitrary labels, of a framework that didn't suit them, that limited them; social and logical constraint of the need to define them, to organize them, disappeared. It is nonetheless true that the draperies in the shape of a crescent moon no longer derive the expression of their definitive symmetry from the quaternary number: go there and see for yourself if you do not wish to believe me.

Georges Perec - Life, A User's Manual
Flann O'Brien - The Third Policeman
Djuna Barnes - Nightwood
Eugene Ionesco - Present Past Past Present: A Personal Memoir
Comte de Lautreamont - Chants de Maldoror
