i'm going to agree with this. unless a really good director is involved, remakes suck. they ruin and shame the original.

I feel the same way... it's unoriginal to the max >_>. It can ruin great memories of the originial movies for me. I'm at least hoping Willy Wonka with Johnny Depp will be semi-good..

This is a remake that I think shouldn't have happened... but at least it's based on the book more then Gene Wilder's movie.
