That's a poignant picture.
It is. I believe it's a little girl who works in a factory from the turn of the century.. or a little later. Hard to tell.
That's an interesting picture, what is behind that lovely lass?
And I was totally looking in second place for my name... I'm one of five #1's YAY!
Machines, I think, and well done!
dropping in the ranks...Nuts!
Nuts indeed. Next month. ;)
So, you award people for being the first to comment on your entries?
That's... interesting. Kinda random, if I say so myself.
One month, you should award all the 18th comments. Or something. =)
*shrug * Everyone was making such a big deal posting "first" I figured, why fight it? Might as well encourage it. ;)
mmmm...this is lovely. the little girl is cute. what is behind her though?
Pretty sure it's machines.
I think I saw that picture in my history textbook...or something...it's familiar...
Oh..and...wooo 2nd place! Huzzah.
Cool. *nod* It's always struck me.
What do the 23 second runner ups win? :-P
Wow...I actually posted first at some point...*doesn't remember...go figure* ...cool!

i like her dress for some reason
I love old pictures like this. They really make me think about how much (and how quickly!) the world has changed as well as how much it can change.
It's true. This girl would probably have her own cellphone and Ipod, if she lived now.
