[music |A bee? What the hell?]

For 30 years, the Greek town of Vostitza on the island of Zante maintained it’s local jailhouse in the trunk of a tree. From 1791 to 1821, the hollow trunk of a giant platan, or plane tree served as their local lockup. The prisoners’ quarters were quite roomy since the treee had a circumference of more then 50 feet.

You know how some homeless people will, like, steal a TV or something so they can go to jail and have a warm place to sleep and food and stuff?

I would totally do that to get to stay in that jail.

But only something small...I reckon I'd get tired of it after a while.

Oh dear. I said "reckon"

That's like the kind of set-up they'd have in a Winnie the Pooh movie. Christopher Robin goes to Hollow Tree Jail for getting drunk and beating up his non-traditional common-law wife, Kanga while she's strung out on crack. The whole thing could be filmed "Cops" style.
