A mechanical means of collectng sperm for medical use was touted as a moral alternative to maturbation, according to an article published by Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, which is umder the direction of Italian bishops. Masturbation is the most common way to gather sperm for laborattory tests related to impotence and genetic diseases, but the Catholic church teaches that masturbation is immoral. The article described the use of a vibrating machine that attaches to a testicle, concluding from a survey of 17 men who used the machine that “several components that constitute the masturbation act would seem to be absent -- direct stimulation of the genital organ, and any erotic feelings. “

thats actually a very cool invention,

A client of mine runs a fertility center, helping couples conceive and whatnot, a lot of african men have to go through painful testicular biopsy procedures because no matter how hard they try, they are unable to masturbate.
It has been taught to them all their lives that it is a mortal sin, so even when they try, apparently its no-dice.
It causes the men great anguish to have to come back upstairs with an empty cup, and then even more anguish when they go under the knife...
so, it gets my vote.
