i would be happy with payment of getting to go to a dinner party for free
I LOVE SUPERSTITIONS!!!!!!
It's a good day for them!
No kidding? That's so funny! Wait, how much does it pay? I've found my future career!
lol, good luck. I hope you make a lot. ;)
those darn french. i love them all!
That's just kind of weird...
Although, I did not even go outside today simply because it's Friday the 13th. (I'm sure if I had something important to do I would have gone out, of course!)
I almost tripped on nothing today.
OMG it's ME!
thats a pretty good one for this friday the 13th...now, to mischief and turning into crazy things.
That has to be the best piece of information i've ever heard xD Where do we sign up?
lol. I really don't know. ;) Maybe there's a website?
i still think 13 is lucky. it had to do with the lunar calander in the old days when there were 13 months. i think i will try to research this more. i hope you had a good day and all and have agreat weekend :)
I'd love to learn more about what you find. :) And I'm sure the weekend will be great , I hope yours is too! *hugs*
I love all of these random facts :) I what sort of credentials (table manners, good small talk ability, and a good wit?) or experience you need to be a professional dinner guest? Hmmmmm, I want to put an ad in the yellow pages advertising myself as a professional dinner guest :P I wonder if I would get any work?
lol! I'd be so excited for oyu if you did, that'd be really cool. That's the kind of profession to have, man.
Ummmmm....Yeah, I heard of that. lol.
Can Can dance!! Come on, Mother Random!! :P
I actually saw a short play centred on that...but I forget the name :) It was pretty good
hehe, thats an awesome, getting paid to have dinner with a bunch of people.
I thought it was cool too. ;)
In England, wew have sometihng similar, we have a guest who is paid to attend a dinner party and gets free food etc, in order for them to make an after dinner speech at the end. They are paid to be there and be entertaining. :0 Its not superstitious, we just like to be entertained after diner :)
That's awesome. ;) I want to move to England and do that for a living. Think I could get a work visa by proving that I have great wit and endless charm?

Sounds like my grandma... She made one of the adults sit at the kiddie table last year for Christmas, so she wouldn't have 13 sitting at the table.
lol! Awesome. Either that or the unlucky adult was the unwilling chaperone?
