People with a history of sunburns in their youth have double the risk of melanoma later in life.

Hmmm... I never burnt as a child. I remember getting tan fairly easily. In my teens and more recently I get burnt if I step one foot into sunshine, though.

That's some interesting info.

I'm the same way! There were all of these pictures of me as a kid super tan, and now 5 minutes into the sun and I'm turning red. I wonder why it is that we didn't burn as kids and do now? Maybe we spent more time outside then?

Not only do I have a long history of SEVERE sunburns, but a history of irregular moles and new growth moles. Tis scary. I hardly ever see the sun anymore.. I probably have it down to only one or two sunburns a year now.

I have a perma sunburn on my chest, though. Ill show pictures where Im showing cleavage... because my boobflesh is this translucent pasty blue-white and then my neck and upper chest is this permanent red. Not good.

Wow! That's crazy! I wonder why that is? Do you wear low cut shirts a lot maybe and spend time enough outside that you could get a bit of a burn that's ever present?

I used too, but now I avoid the sun like it's the plague. Do you just forget to use sunscreen?

Really? I didn't know that Asian people didn't sunburn! Is this just a thing for you or is an entire racial benefit?
