There is no one who does not dream. Those who claim to have no dreams, laboratory tests have determined, simply forget their dreams more easily then others.

Re: I knew that research, but...

Oh, that makes me think of The Stand by Stephen King. All of the few survivors of the superflu were vivid dreamers :) Wild tangent, I know. Just thinking that only 10% of us dream in color would fit that only about that percentage of humans survived.

I guess since he dreams in B&W he thinks that what all others dream. He says a doctor told him that your mind adds the colors after because it knows what color things are supposed to be. Doctor's thinking eyes see color and when eyes are closed you can't see color, the mind just adds it.
Bah, I just told him your reading about small % dreaming in color and that I must be part of it..he's still skeptical.

Re: I knew that research, but...

Hmm. I can see about the adding it with your eyes closed. I do when I close my eyes I can picture any color I've ever seen, but I'm not sure that there's a difference between the color I see with my eyes and the color I replicate in my mind? Why can't they be the same? Who says we see color at all anywhere but in our minds?

Re: I knew that research, but...

On acid, don't some people claim to taste or hear colors? So maybe we experience colors on multiple levels all the time but only notice our eyes because it's the best at it.
