I've been watching it while I can between bouts of getting actual productive work done.
I need to get a big bucket of popcorn. It's like a big reality show.
The biggest!!! Ugh!
I wish i could eat. lol. I think that would help me from feeling so.. bleh.
Lord, I'm getting nervous.
Oh wow!! Thanks hon. New ones for me to monitor like a hawk.
I'm watching at the moment but it's nearly 1am and I need to go to bed soon!
I'm so glad I don't have to work or anything tomorrow.
No! Don't torture yourself!! Of course, as good as this advice is, I keep flipping around the web looking for result/exit polls myself. It's going to be a lonnnnnnnggggg night. :)
LOL, I know, right.
I just took an anti anxiety pill. Haha, maybe that'll help.
I think it's funny that all my international friends are teh ones who are so nervous about it. Everyone here may be on edge, but we're all acting relaxed and chill about it. :)
There's a reason I'm avoiding TV and radio and whatnot. I'm nervous, too =/
I should have taken something a bit stronger this morning too, haha :D
Maybe I'll log off of WoW and watch some anime or something.
I wish I could. LOL. I'm an ADDICT on election night, always. More this year then ever before.
I guess I am 'lucky' enough to not have TV, so I am not glued to the results. I am happy enough that both myself and my hubby voted, even tho when I cast my vote, I knew that my candidate would never win. Kinda depressing. I guess I am not on the edge of my seat for this elecion like I was for previous ones because I don't like either of the main candidates. Granted I don't like one a lot more than I don't like the other, but still. Makes waiting for election results a little...depressing.
*nod* I'm starting to wish i didn't have a tv. lol
I gotta get the kids to bed. Gotta peel my face off the computer screen. It ain't easy, lol!
oh, I think I can, I think I can...
I know RIGHT!?! LOL. I'm going through the same.
I keep checking on CNN. Dammit, I have an exam in 15mins, why must I get distracted?
Eep. Bad timing for the exam! :(
(((hugs))) it won't be much longer.
I love your icon so much. *HUGS*
Looks like Obama took Ohio. Even Fox is reporting that it doesn't look good for John McCain at this point- unless he xan pull off an unexpected upset somewhere.
I know. I'm feeling soo sooo sooo good about this right now.
I know. That worries me too. We've seen something similar before and it didn't turn out too pretty.
lol Brian Williams while watching the film of the outside of his building saw that he left his office light on.
I live in NC.
Check out that 50/50
I KNOW. That's SO CLOSE. You msut be on pins and needles
I can't believe one news show is saying Texas is in McCain's bag. Only 15% of the precincts have reported and so far its 53.78% McCain, 45.55% Obama.
Eeep. It could really go either way then.
Well, I am giving up. With the way things are falling, I don't foresee any major drama a la 2004, and it's too depressing to keep watching anyhow.
I'll be looking forward to your post on this tomorrow tho!

Any Virginians here?
I'm amazed that they haven't called Virginia yet (I'm only looking online, not watching TV. If I were watching TV, I'd probably be up all night). Is there something weird going on there -- problems with voting equiment -- or is it just too close yet?
you how boomer say they were at woodstock, next gen can say they were at grant park
Er, congrats? I didn't like either candidate, really, but I ended up voting for McCain. So...hurrah? It's kind of scary here on campus, though. EVERYONE is going nuts.
Thank you. I thought McCain's concession speech was wonderful.
I hope Obama proves himself as a wonderful president and will earn your support in the next four years.
All the same.
I've almost got the weepies I'm so happy ahahaha. I feel like I've been a part of something huge and awesome. My first little "I voted!" sticker will be cherished FOREVER. <3333333333333333333333333
I know. I'm so happy. I can't wait to tell Little Random in the morning. =)
Looks like you got your birthday present, after all!
*massive hugs* from Wellington, New Zealand.
You guys made history today - I'm so happy for you, me, your country and the world!
Thank you, love. =.) I'm just.. I can't express how proud I am of America tonight.
i'm not quite sure what to do with myself i'm so excited about the years to come. change occurs slowly, but this is such a good start.
We can finally start feeling good about being Americans again!
It's a very nice change. =)
i watched it at work. my last break, i really wanted to something other than a pen or gum to chomp on, and, so, tried to get some popcorn. but it got stuck in the fracking machine.
and, to top it all off, i forgot to fill out an incident report to get my dollar back.
but Obama getting elected makes it all better.
It definitely makes it all bette. This is just incredible.
