5 more home remidies! :) As always, consult a doctor so that nothing nefarious happens to you.. and all that jazz. :)

6. Cure urinary tract infections with Alka-Seltzer. Just dissolve two tablets in a glass of water and drink it at the onset of the symptoms. Alka-Seltzer begins eliminating urinary tract infections almost instantly -- even though the product was never been advertised for this use.

7. Eliminate puffiness under your eyes..... All you need is a dab of preparation H, carefully rubbed into the skin, avoiding the eyes. The hemorrhoid ointment acts as a vasoconstrictor, relieving the swelling instantly.

8. Honey remedy for skin blemishes... Cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a band-aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin sterile, and speeds healing. Works overnight.

9. Listerine therapy for toenail fungus... Get rid of unsightly toenail fungus by soaking your toes in Listerine mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves your toenails looking healthy again.

10. Easy eyeglass protection.. To prevent the screws in eyeglasses from loosening, apply a small drop of Maybelline CrystalClear nail polish to the threads of the screws before tightening them.

Have some scrubs too. Always makes me smile. :)

I'll probably give them both a try. The ladder is a lot cheaper then the antibiotics for infections!

Honey is an ancient remedy for healing wounds. I know Egyptions used it at least 5000 years ago to treat wounds before wrapping them up in linen.

The only one I hadn't heard of is the alka-seltzer. All of the others I have tried with success before now. Except number 7, but it's not really a secret either. And I believe it needs to be an unprocessed honey.

And unprocessed is the stuff I buy from local places, vs. what you get in the grocery store, yes?

LOL that JD fantasy is one of my FAVORITES. David Copperfield may potentially be a wanker, but I crack up every time he goes "MAGIC!!!!"

uh.. ALWAYS consult a doctor if you think you have a urinary tract infection. they can lead to a kidney infection.

Oh, I know all about that. I've got major issues wth my kidneys and seem to have an infection every year. But it's worth giving the alka seltzer thing a try at the first sign of it, I would think. I wonder if it works because it might have the same ingredients as Azo.. whcih treats just the symptoms of an infection. I get terribly sick from Azo, so if that is the case, I better check on it first.
