Whoot? Am I the first? :-)
I'd like Swiss or Australian...
Why indeed, you are. ;) Well done!
And aww. That makes me say "Oh.. Georg..." and sing Something Good from Sound of Music. I hope you're happy. hehe
-- Oh damn,.. you wrote Australian.. not Austrian. Now I feel silly.
That's cool. ;) I have a terrible habit of picking up the accents I'm around, which really sucks if you're in a play or something and lots of different accents are happening.
"Shit! This character's not scottish!!"
Aww!!! It was totally my favorite as a child. I love it.
I saw that on Montel Williams! (the accent thing LOL) I tend to slip in and out of an accent depending if I'm speaking Spanglish that day. :p Though for fun I just love putting on something really odd like swedish, russian, or middle eastern. fun times at walmart!
That movie scared me because I was convinced that cartoon dragons could manifest themselves at any place and any time. waah!
Haha! I used to do that at the airport when you could actually be inside the airport waiting for flights to come in. I had a friend coming in from London and I was there with two friends, and we were just craaazy! We wer emaking up stories, doing different accents, having fake breakdowns in the middle of the airport. It rocked. good times.
And I'm so sad that Eliot scared you! I adored him!
hehe, I knew someone would give me a Soviet Russia related link. ;)
I'd like to have a Russian accent....so I can say "I'm going to get you....moose and squirrel!!!"
LOL! YAY! ;) I loved the hell out of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
I'm not German, but I'd love to be able to have the accent and language.
It can be very sexy. *nod* And then not, depending on who's using it. hehe
I would want an Irish or Australian accent.
Both great. I love the Irish accent, especially.
I'd be happy with a clear french accent... mine's kinda muddy, and mostly comes out when I'm REALLY mad or REALLY REALLY drunk...
I s'pose both are equal to brain surgury...LOL
Ha ha, then I could do a better Monty Python & the Holy Grail monologue...ROFLMAO
Haha, rock on. ;)
I can do a French accent really well. Not sure how or why, but that's one thing I've got down. Not that it's a very useful skill, really. lol
its a brazzle dazzle day.
i'd want a welsh accent. its interesting.
or like, a rural brit dialect.
YAY. :) Pete's Dragon is where it's at.
Totally. Both are really pretty.
I'd like a British accent too! and Passamaquaddy is funny! I felt ridiculous watching it though. I'm not really a musical lover. *haha*
OOO and IRISH! That's even better!
I speak randomly (totally unknowingly most of the time) ((out of habit)) in (usually) a Russian accent. I knew I had a brain injury!! Just kidding. But oh man, some of my friends want to punch me all the time because I don't even realize when I start speaking in the accents. Annnd yesterday morning I suddenly realized I was talking to myself (in my head) in an Australian accent. :\ It was so odd. I don't know how long I had been doing it. And I don't believe I have even spoken in an Australian accent before aside from when I was in Australia.
That's awesome! :) I think it'd be cool to do that. Sounds like a really good time, actually. ;)
I kind of slip into brit-speak for no particular reason, it gets on one of my friends nerves a bit. Generally, people like it. lol
I'm happy that people out there want our Australian accent. You know we don't sound like Crocodile Dundee, Russell Crowe or Steve Irwin, right? People who are supposedly Australian in films have the most cringeworthy accents. People often ask me where I'm from because I don't sound like a hick or a farmer (love you all).
I sat on a plane for 20 hours next to some Americans who kept wanting me to say "Crikey" and "throw a shrimp on the barbie" and other supposedly Australian sayings.
I think the Irish have it all over everyone when it comes to hot accents. Really, just so gorgeous. It does make me wonder what kind of accent they'd want if they didn't already have one (which to them, they don't, it's the rest of us..)
I personally find Australian accents, and also New Zealand accents, to be extremely sexy. And I promise never ever to assume that Australians all speak alike. Which I don't think now, but you have reaffirmed that you don't.
If I started speaking in an Eastern accent, my Hubby would never leave me alone. (Not that that's a bad thing...)
What kind of an eastern accent? :)
I'd like to have an Irish accent, it would make singing along to my irish folk music so much easier. And Pete's Dragon was probably one of my favorite childhood movies, I wish I had that dragon
YAY! Glad there's more Pete's Dragon love. I adored that film. :) Now I've spread that love on to my kid. hehe. He wants to watch it at least once a week and it gives me an excuse to watch it.
And awesome. Irish is the accent of choice.
FYI I think women with a Russian accent sexy. The same with a French, British, American,.... What the hell I fine women sexy. :-)
For me I think if I was given my choice I would go with Irish
I wouldn't care as long as it was a language that I couldn't speak and I had a really bad impersonation of it. That would be hillarious.
