Kiss your cat! [Nov. 25th, 2007|09:54 am]

[mood |cynicalcynical]
[music |Hail To The Princess Aurora]

The matrimonial pollsters contend their studies indicate the man who kisses his wife good-bye when he leaves for work every morning averages a higher income than does the fellow who doesn't do that thing. Husbands who exercise the rituals of affection tend to be more painstaking, more stable, more methodical, thus higher earners, it's believed.

( *shrug* Who knows. How could that seriously be polled?)

And that's a very ANGRY cat. I wouldn't want to run into that cat in a dark alley. She'll cut a bitch. ;)

I don't know how accurate that poll is but it does actually make sense.

Holy crap, that's one pissed off kitty!

And while I am amused by that poll, I have doubts as to its accuracy. After all, 65% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

;)

Another possible explanation is that people in loving relationships are better able to handle the stresses of work. Or that men who are doing well at work aren't angry as often, and are more likely to be in a good mood when heading off to work.

I'm sure there's more explanations that could be drawn for that. :-)

So, if everyone gets themselves a wife, and kisses her every morning before work, we'll all make more money.

I'm off to find me a wife...I suggest you do the same. ;-)

I feel so bad for that cat. :(

I threw away my chance at marriage, so I guess I'll have to make it on my own! ;)

It doesn't say how successful bachelors and bachelorette's do, when kissing themselves in the mirror every morning. ;)

I'm sure it's true. It makes sense after all. Sometimes it's easier to do what you need to do if it helps support the one you love.

Don't know how true that poll is. Interesting factoid, though.

That poor kitty! Seems like he was seriously mistreated by people in his past. Poor, poor bebeh. :(

My hubby does pretty well for himself and he doesn't kiss me in the mornings. Although I think that has a lot to do with him leaving at 6/ 6:30am and I'm still curled up in bed (and if he tries to wake me he'll be threatened with violence *L*)

Right? ;) Maybe he sneaks a kiss on your forehead and you're not aware.

WHAT ABOUT MEEEEEEEEE?????

I'm the worker bee in my family! Am I better person at work cuz I always say "I love you" before I go? *flail* I need to know how! *grin*

Lover-boy, bless him, can't work due to the disability issues thing, and often is still sleeping when I leave. He's lucky I don't kick him in the mornings when I'm really not wanting to go in. ;)

Ummm...

All I got out of this was cat x kissing x wife x morning = go down on her every day before work.

Which I could totally get behind.

Re: hmm...

It's a good question. Part of why I doubt the authenticity of the poll.
