Jabba Does a Good Deed. ;)

Made by LJ'r Synthiacat. :) And once again, if any of you have made youtube's you want to share, hook me up and I'll post them. :)

And, According to Scientific American magazine: if you live in the northern hemisphere, odds are that every time you fill your lungs with air at least one molecule of that air once passed thru Socrates lungs.

I wonder if it's true!

RE: molecule of Socrates' air
everette's answer to the questionable breath. Otherwise, there'd be so soul to anything.

Despite the mean comments on yt toward synthiacat's video, I loved it.

This one's a keeper.

I was wondering the same thing. Which is why I'm not so certain it's true.

I wish I knew how they figured it out.

It's basic math. After 2,000+ years, air molecules would be thoroughly mixed (I can't see why "Northern Hemisphere" would be specified, it shouldn't matter after so long), so, knowing how many molecules are in an average breath, you can estimate the number of molecules a person would breathe in his lifespan, and you can estimate the number of molecules in the air. A little basic probability math, and you can figure out that every breath probably contains a few molecules (or, more precisely, molecules containing atoms that were in molecules) breathed by Socrates (the molecules themselves wouldn't still be around by now, having been incorporated by plants via photosynthesis, and then broken down and exhaled by animals and repeating the cycle over and over again)

There's also the fact that when we breathe it out, it becomes carbon dioxide anyway before getting changed back.

Right, but does that change the molecules?

It wasn't all musky and awful?

I don't know what the ladies, and some of the men are thinking at my job. It's horrible. You can't breathe there.

I knew Jabba couldn't be all bad

That's cool about the Socrates thing, but it also means I've probably breathed in Jeffrey Dahmer and Newt Gingrich. *shudder*

But... if that's how it works, i have. but that's also mean everyone you've ever met, too... and... i don't wanna breathe anything from a lot of people i've met. Yick.

LOL, right?

I'm amused that Jeffrey Dahmer doesn't gross you out, but random eople you've ran into does.

Re: I knew Jabba couldn't be all bad

Hahah, yeah. I guess it does sound weird. Heh. But i've run into some gross people. Like the lady at the store that smelled like rotted teeth, dirt, BO, old semen, wet dog and vomity-poop.

I'm a fan of serial killers, though. And he's my faaaaaaaavourite. And he has gorgeous eyes, if you can find the pictures that show 'em off.

I'm not a big fan of serial killers. The only one I'm really interested in is Jack The Ripper.
